Spam Bait Programs

To combat spam, Clarke Computer Company has installed some programs that will generate addresses to attract spammer's web bots and draw the attention away from a user's real email addresses.

Wpoison is installed at /cgi-bin/domains/addresses.phtml within each domain. The program is protected by both the Robots Exclusion Protocol(in the default .htaccess file installed in your domain at set-up) and the Robots META tag.

To complement Wpoison, we also have an Email CGI that will help you hide your email addresses.
